1. What we collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account, uploading earnings statements, and making a payment. This may include your name, email address, payment confirmation, and the files you upload for report generation.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to generate your tax report, process your payment, and provide customer support. We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Security
All uploads are encrypted in transit using TLS and stored in secure, access-controlled storage. Report data is only visible to you and is automatically deleted after processing.
4. Data retention
Uploaded files and extracted data are automatically deleted from our systems after your report is generated. We only retain your account email and purchase record for billing and support purposes.
5. Third parties
We use Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for secure data storage. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments and only process data on our behalf.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting support@mygigtax.co.uk.
